• Combined Kit - This kit is appropriate for laying chickens and ducks at 20+ weeks and contains the optimum level of protein to support increased egg production during molting season. The higher levels of calcium found in this blend help to produce stronger eggshells.
• Scratch and Peck Layer Feed - A special blend of cracked organic grains, organic flax meal, and select vitamins and minerals sourced from North American farms, naturally free of corn and soy, our layer feed is formulated with nutrient-rich ingredients to support the health and wellness of your flock.
• Scratch and Peck Layer Grit - Made up of insoluble crushed quartzite or granite, grit remains in the bird’s gizzard to help with digestion. We suggest offering Layer Grit either free choice in a separate dish or tossing on the ground in their coop area to encourage natural scratching behavior. The birds will self-regulate and take what they need.
• Scratch and Peck Organic Herbs - The herbs in this mix have been selected for their known beneficial attributes and natural preventative properties. The xanthophylls in the calendula flowers deepen yolk coloring in eggs, and nettles have been known to increase eggshell strength when used regularly.
