• Kit includes HotShock 5 Energizer (.5 joule), 12v leads and wiring harness, 3 ft. galvanized ground rod. Great for folks new to electric fencing.
• Should power 1 mile of 3 strand cattle fence, 1/2 mile of a 5 - 7 strand sheep fence, 6 of the 164' rolls of sheep/goat nets or 3 of the 164' poultry nets. Distance depends on grass/weed load on the fence.
• With the HotShock 5 energizer a 12v 100 ampere hour, deep cycle battery will last approximately 54 days* on a clean or a weedy fence. (*Assumes battery being drawn down to 40% between recharges.)
• Low impedance energizer. NOTE: BATTERY IS NOT INCLUDED. YOU WILL NEED TO PURCHASE A 12 VOLT DEEP CYCLE BATTERY LOCALLY.
